An Afternoon with Annie

Anna and the boyz spent the day with us on Tuesday. She needed to get out of the house. So we spent the afternoon watching Annie. It was a blast from the past for us. We watched that movie a lot when we were little. We even had a record of the soundtrack (that's right, a record, not a tape or cd!)

Thanks to my sister, Anna, for bringing back the wonderful memories of HHS Band. Yes, I was one of the drum majors and yes, everyone wanted to be just like me. Really, who doesn't want to be the leader of the band geeks?? You can read about her memory here

There I am in the middle in the white. What a happy girl I was!
These were our uniforms my Jr. year. Noelle is your model in the middle. White satin skirts and jackets with gold sequin trim. A gold bowtie and cumberbund. White gloves. White keds with white sequin legwarmers. I kid you not....and I will wear those to Bunco next month.
My Senior year we got these. Nice hats!! Check out the trophy!

My sister, Anna, FINALLY has a blog. I've been waiting for this day to come! You will love her commentary on life and her a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e twins. Addie started Pre-School at Trinity on Wednesday. She would not smile for this picture. She was very serious about starting school. When I picked her up I asked her what she did and she said, "I don't know, but it was sure fun!"

Addie's 4th Birthday

Adeline turned 4 today!! We celebrated her birthday at Johnson Lake at Steve and Carolyn's (her grandparents) cabin.
